It is a necessity of politicians and lawyers to be willing to say and do ANYTHING that promotes themselves and their cause.

“Trump wants to prevent these types of rapes/crimes - the attorney doesn’t care.”........

The attorney sees his future potential cases diminished if Trump succeeds, any wonder why he’s blaming Trump?

The lawyer argues ( doing his job!!) that “she wanted it”. She can;t at 14 years old. That is still statutory rape, if proven.

Actually not true in the People's Republic of Maryland, where "persons aged between 14 and 16 may consent to sex as long as the other partner is not more than 4 years older." If this 18 y/o predator is the age he claims and no more than 4 years older than his 14 y/o victim, she can consent. Check their birthdays, and this may be a valid defense. The lawyer's claims don't address the victim screaming for help, but her age alone may not be sufficient for a conviction.

Since the only skill of the lawyer, particularly in criminal defense, is really sophistry; what did you expect?

First error, is the ‘belief system for’ and methods utilized by a defense attorney in the attempt to vindicate the client.

To me the entire question is simple, and one does not allow bullshit to enter into the reality and so called fact finding.

There is something wrong with it being said; “it is the defense attorney’s job the provide the best defense for the client” and is the result of backwards thinking and a misunderstanding of the ‘law’ in general. Sure I am pissing some off, I trying too, and hopefully some will read about what is the law and its purpose. And also see how it has been ‘perverted’ just like Bastiat said.

The lawyer is the product of a society and should always look to the maximum safety of the society, this is true. But more often this position is abused either ‘accidentally/unintentionally or with malice.

Seeking to profit in many ways;’playing’ the system as though it were a game; and taking up causes or clients for the ‘limelight’; are appalling to me.

Plain and simple, and straight to you defense attorneys. NO sophistry, when you KNOW your client is guilty of a heinous crime, and you defend him with the intent or success of confusing the judge and/or jury of his guilt.

YOU ARE WORSE THAN HE IS.

Side note: I was incarcerated, I am poor I had a public defender known as the ‘dump truck’ also known for being the laziest in the public defender’s office. The merits in my case are irrelevant, but by the “letter of the law”, I was wrong. “It is the duty of honest men/women to thwart unjust laws.” I believe the law was wrong, and like Socrates I challenged and lost. I recognize, in societies the proper construct of law and it implementation are extremely important, however they are obviously very sensitive to abuse

Many times the behaviors of ‘criminal defenders & prosecutors’ is more about the ‘show of skill’ rather than the truth. Some may argue that this rarely happens, something I do not believe, but even if it were so. Once is a staggering blow to the system.

Every time a judge ‘flames out’ the validity of the system deteriorates and becomes less reliable. Look at the 9th circuit, need I say more.

Oh damn, the coffee cup is empty

NYPD Turns Against the FBI: Seized Laptop Shows Hillary Clinton Covered Up Weiner’s Alleged Sex Crimes With 15 yr old During Election

This explains why Comey reopened his investigation into Clinton a week before the election.

Reading between the lines, he intervened to stop the NYPD from pushing further into the case and exposing Hillary to the sexting cover up.

By opening up the email server case briefly, he may have prevented the more damaging stuff about Hillary getting known. And yet, to the nation at large it seemed at the time he was acting as a non-partisan.

Not sure why Trump keeps Comey. He's a wily character who must be removed to clean up the swamp.

Seeing this scum on the Tucker Carlson show was like watching Holy Water being thrown in the devil’s face - Tucker didn’t mince words.

Watched it live...first time I have seen Tucker visibly get angry...he was pissed at the worthless POS.

Any decent person is infuriated to learn that a 14-year-old girl was brutally gang raped at her public school for which attendance is compulsory and which is required by law to provide equal protection.

That protection, in order to be equal, is now zero protection.

But we are even more angry that many crimes like this could have been avoided by simply enforcing the existing immigration laws. And instead, leftists are doing everything in their power to circumvent these laws.

And then we are called racists for wanting to have a sovereign nation with borders, rather than importing the worst citizens from third-world countries.

Bottom line — if liberals were not in power, this crime would not have happened.

And it has become very clear that crimes like this are the actual objective of fifth column enemies of this nation, like Obama.

And this attorney, is no better than the criminals he is representing and should get similar consequences.

“Hysteria” is the term the Left uses to counter any criticism or observations about their bizarre ,destructive narrative. Notice how shrill and offensive these left wing lowlifes become when they are confronted with a real victim of their one world/ no borders nonsense.

(((
I know nothing about the law, but I have seen some comments here in recent days that say this animal could not even be charged with statutory rape, per Maryland law, because he is not judged to be a full 4 years older than the victim.

I don’t know if those posters are correct or not.

Good point.

Next, maybe he will claim that it was consensual and then the other animal joined in because of that recording of Trump saying vulgar things to Billy Bush.

Disgusting.

They blame the repercussions of THEIR horrid, submissive laws/beliefs, on Trump/conservatives.

The City Councilman, Cohen, did the same thing...and, actually blamed the PARENT’S of this 14 year old victim, as well, for ‘bringing it to the public’.

Sick.

No sale.

Raising hand and asking question...Didn’t Tucker tell us the perp’s “family” had declined a public defender and hired this sos themselves. OK, I’ll accept that but who the devil will be paying for this ‘attorney’? Anything further on that one? Rockville? Maryland? DNC, who is unable to pay their own bills?
