20 years ago he was an advocate for single payer.
Throughout the 2016 campaign he promised “everyone will be covered”. Dozens of times, on record in front of 10s of thousands of people.
I have no doubt he is working on that plan right now.
The reason being is the vast majority of American people want all the features that can be delivered only by nationalized healthcare.
You just can’t call it “nationalized healthcare”.
Yes, it will be disastrous, and yes it will destroy the republic as we know it. But it’s the only solution politically achievable.
Just like the national debt.
