It would be filibustered in the Senate.

As long as it is a REAL filibuster.

He pulled it because they didn’t have the votes. He wouldn’t have pulled it if they did.

If the Republicans were going to do that, they should have put a full bill forward and then had the Senate Dems filibuster it. Now the Republicans own the failure and look incompetent.

Yes, well... but, can’t we blame Ryan just a little? Just for fun? HA!

Ryan has to go nuclear.

Kill Medicare. Kill Medicaid. Kill the VA. Kill Tri Care. Kill the insurance companies. No more claim forms. No more insurance cards. Just direct doctor-patient relationships. Charitable trusts can be set up to offset the medical costs of the poor.

It’s over. Time for Jacob to smash the idols.

mex pay 50$....recently incarcerated pay 50$....asian immigrants pay 50$...moslims pay 0$.....if we level health care fairly....then implement the existing diagnostic soft ware for analysis...then order generic meds.... at 1/10th the cost.....then everyone pays 150 $...and it would work....

yep...its doable....big pharm loses...billions....so it aint gonna go.

It’s clear the Democrats did it out of spite. I don’t think the Republicans in the House did. I think they saw a stinker and didn’t want to be a part of it.

Of course the Democrats would have been the vast majority of no votes.

IMO, good. Can’t believe they didn’t jump on it, frankly.

I agree with you, the best strategy would have been to pass the dream republican bill and force dems to filibuster. Then you can either let omabacare fail and blame dems, or pass partial repeal and blame dems. There was no point in starting with a compromise bill, even though that bill might improve status quo.

That is exactly what can and should happen on next week. I bill can be introduced on the floor of the House and a vote taken. Then send it over to the Senate. They can modify or add what they want and then it comes back to conference committee and then re-vote.

What was being crammed through the House has an AWFUL bill. Now do the right thing next week.

Trump will not stick the Democrats with anything.

He is, as we type, reaching out to them to cut a new deal.

This POTUS is a non-ideological pragmatist and progressive in the Teddy Roosevelt mold.

He is going to leave the Republicans to rot in their own putrid vomit.

Remember, everything the Republicans say about the Democrats is true. And everything the Democrats say about the Republicans is also true.

There is one bigly problem with Obamacare. Which is many millions more are being SUBSIDIZED for their healthcare premiums for Obamacare than those who pay their Obamacare premiums from their pockets.

In other words, every day Obamacare remains law of the land, the biggest losers are tax payers who are subsidizing those signed up with Obamacare.

Letting it die on its own is the safest move. I don’t have a problem with any of this honestly. Time to move on to tax cuts.

“There will be no tax cut bill passed. You won’t even see one floated for two months...by then Trump will be a eunuch with no power whatsoever.”

You are wrong of course.
