This is not Ryancare. It’s Trumpcare. He surrendered literally on day one when the met with Obama and caved on preexisting conditions. Once he caved on that the insurance mandate (I could have sworn freepers opposed that as i remember when Justice Roberts saved it and this website exploded) had to stay also. Obozo also convinced the king of the deal to keep the children on parents insurance till 26. Afterward he promised to cover everybody.
I haven’t been on this site since it turned its back on conservatism. It’s kind of amusing to hear the wailing now.
Just dep six this crap. Do tax reform and remove immigration from judicial rule. Do those right now

Do you know of any place to find the names of those Reps that say they against this bill? Of course, the proof in the pudding would have been who actually voted against the bill had it come up for a vote.

Now, take the same REPEAL bill that the House of Representatives passed 40+ times while Obama was President, submit that for a vote and REPEAL OBAMACARE, PERIOD!

A lot of those things are just inane talking points by people who think they know how to fix the problem. Tort reform is a perfect example of this. You can’t do medical malpractice tort reform in a Federal law because malpractice cases are brought in state courts. Many states have already implemented various types of tort reform, and it hasn’t made much of a difference in their health care costs.
Trump will come out of this OK.
People who think that Trump is a republican are scratching their heads today. I would not want to be the person in his cross hairs this afternoon.
In a year, the Democrats will be screaming for replacement. Obamacare is going down, and going down hard. Trump will use that to bring the country together.
This stabs the Tea Party and the GOPe in the heart. They are dead in the water. The crap they are going to get from this will force them to work on a tax cut.
Its going to be a chaotic couple of months, but in the end we will get a better deal.

There’s certainly some truth to that. But there are other elements at play; the GOP is weak, unprincipled, and stands for nothing.
They were given a golden opportunity to lead but have turned it into a train wreck. The GOP isn’t called the Stupid Party for nothing. Its a well earned moniker.

President Trump specified what he wanted IN a bill that he'd sign. There is FAR MORE in RyanCare than President Trump asked for.
If RyanCare makes it to his desk, President Trump should LIVE UP TO HIS PROMISE to VETO it, since he did campaign on REPEALING Obamacare.
RyanCare does NOT repeal Obamacare!
Then vote the bad ideas down. I’m okay with that.
Somebody on this forum suggested that FIRST a bill should be passed whereby all Congresscritters are subjected to the same HC law as We The People.

I really do hope that they pull the bill, and Trump hangs the whole sorry mess around Ryan’s neck. Then call for a new speaker to be elected. He’s going to have the GOPe $hitting enough bricks to provide all the construction material for the border wall. It isn’t the RATs who are the problem. We all know who and what they are and there are ways to deal with them. It is, unfortunately, another matter to deal with the quislings in the GOP who are nakedly trying to undo this last election every bit as much as the RATs.

Nope, we won't. For those of us who read the bill, as it was originally written, it was MADE to FAIL, for later political games.
The insurance companies have made all the quick cash they could under Obama, so they are dropping out of the program, like flies. How are you going to provide Obamacare if you don't have an insurance company participating?
