Instead of taking the evidence to Trump and/or the public, Nunes is now planning to take it (behind closed doors) to the 2 main SUSPECTS in the case... Rogers and Comey. Neither the evidence or the leakers will survive that.
Instead, he should quietly take it to Trump, let Trump declassify it and make it public.
This shift in his plan means the end of Trump... there will be no surviving this embarrassment. This was a close call, and Congress will not take any more chances after this Nunes fail... and impeachment will proceed quickly.
What is going on here is that the Obama administration spied on Trump for Hillary and they are back engineering a structure in order to justify it because they thought Hillary was going to win and no justification would ever be necessary. That is the bottom line. That is what everyone refuses to acknowledges.

My take on a few points of what Nunes said:
“No wiretapping of Trump Tower”
“Appears to be legal surveillance”, but he will know more after he reads the requested documents.
Some of the information in the documents concerns him & makes him uncomfortable
Unmasking is the real problem for him.
So, he said there was surveillance.
Nunes did not back down. This is NBC trying to pretend there’s no news here. Nunes simply asserted there was no “wiretap,” but he repeated how troubled he was that private citizens and Trump team members were surveilled and unmasked - even confirming that potential felonies were committed. I guess NBC’s crack reporters missed that part
Let’s find out who authorized the unmasking, for what purposes and for how long. Those are questions none of the Dems or their media bootlickers want to entertain

I believe the president can declassify it. So, it makes no sense that Nunes has changed his plan.... instead of taking it to Trump he's now instead planning to take it to the 2 main suspects in this case... Comey/Rogers. What in the hell is the point in doing that?
