McCain: Congress doesn't have 'credibility' to handle Russia probes

Congress no longer has the credibility to independently tackle a probe of Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election and President Trump and his associates' ties to Moscow, Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) said Wednesday.

"It's a bizarre situation, and what I think, the reason why I'm calling for this select committee or a special committee, is I think that this back-and-forth and what the American people have found out so far that no longer does the Congress have credibility to handle this alone," McCain told MSNBC's Greta Van Susteren. "And I don't say that lightly."

McCain's comments come amid an increasingly bitter feud that erupted between members of the House Intelligence Committee earlier Wednesday, after the panel's chairman Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Calif.) claimed that he had seen evidence that the U.S. intelligence community incidentally surveilled members of Trump's transition team.

Maybe McCain is in cohoots with the illegal intelligence releases about Trump.

If you put two and two together and believe what you’ve been told then McCain started this whole thing

McCain stated way back when the fake Russian dossier first story first broke. McCain stated that it was he, MaCain, that gave it to the FBI to be investigated

And then the other day during the house hearings. Comey of that FBI stated that is was the fake Russian dossier that what’s the reason they started the investigation of Trump

So McCain is up to his eyeball in this.

And the question is why would anyone doing this research on Trump. Give it to McCain and not to the Democrats to feed it into the government

McCain is a democrat working as a spy/disruptor within the Republican Party. Why no one has asked him why he ALWAYS takes the democrats side and condemns republicans is the big question for him. His friends “on the other side of the aisle” are republicans not democrats. He's a traitor. He needs to be treated as a democrat.

John McCain has never met a back he has not wanted to stab.

You think this is bad? Wait until he torpedoes Gorsuch by scuttling the nuclear option. It is coming, don’t doubt me. As a matter of fact, I saw it coming the day Trump was elected.

This guy is a sick man. I am betting he has much to hide. When he is dead someday and no longer useful to those holding his leash, I bet the information he has sought to keep hidden will be released.

McC is still cranked about losing his shot at the White Hut...

The only reason he wanted to be President was so he could outrank his father and grandfather. When he lost, he wanted revenge on America for dissing him.

VC Sympathizer Juan McLame opining on another's "credibility?"

Priceless!

Go film another Stockholm Syndrome bedside propaganda short about the evils of the American Military, you sellout Commie bastard! While your fellow captives are balled up in 3' X 3' sweat-boxes and receiving their VC-recommended daily allowance of torture, you lay there in a hospital bed getting painkillers and antibiotics while filming the anti-American propaganda your captors used as their justification for torturing your fellow Americans.

How do you look in the mirror every day and not slash your wrists? You disgusting chunk of rancid cuck.

It's not Crazy John that bothers me the most. It's that neither other Senators/Republican leaders nor his family haven't locked him in a padded cell.

The fact that nobody - NOBODY - in the GOP told this lunatic to get his s**t together back in 2008 is why I made my break with the Republican party. He is an arrogant, egotistical, grasping man who has unfortunately networked with powerful entities.

I believe that under his coat of red/white/blue camouflage, the man is basically a lobbyist and fixer. He also seems to be one of the few who is paid enough to stay bought.

McCain is trying to distract the media from looking closer at his involvement in spying on Trump.
He is deeply involved and looking at prison time.

I suspect Reid, Flake, Graham and Romney are also involved.

Yep. I do believe you are correct.....

"Congress no longer has the credibility..."

I didn't have to read any further than this, even if it isn't responsive to McCain's latest absurdity.

After 6 years+ of 'We're gonna repeal Obamacare', what do we get? And that's not the only issue on which they have no credibility. Gutless, reneging liars on both sides of the aisle, with very few exceptions.
