I don’t think the bootlegger wars had this many shootings.
Rudy laid out the blueprint. All you have to do is FOLLOW IT.
NYC was Brutal with drugs and prostitutes and shootings.
Eight years later, I couldn’t believe the transformation. (i’m sure it has transferred back some under deblasio).
Why would you not implement the same strategy?
It didn’t even take Rudy eight years. The transformation was almost complete by the end of his first term. The improvement in quality of life was so spectacular and undeniable that even the NY Times was forced to admit it and endorsed Rudy for re-election.
Don’t forget Rahm’s motto, “never let a crisis go to waste.”
