Hardware or money....the general needs to cite this. If he can’t, then he’s on some fake agenda.

Typically, Saudi groups tended to fund 99-percent of the Taliban in the past. There might be some Russian arms merchants doing some trade....but it’s private Russians, not the Russian government.

Isn’t it amazing how the deep state and the media are out to demonize Russia. I had never heard of a russia Taliban connection until now.

I’m with pepsionice on this one.

The general should, at least, itemize some evidence they have. He doesn’t have to produce it, of course as much is likely classified.

Something like: We have ascertained the origin of HW shipment originating at x and ended up at y. The shipment consisted of products xyz. And: we have traced money from a to b. And: We have detected Russian Sepcops...or contractors (synonymous) at location x.

I trust our military men to tell the truth as they know it. But they are not the origin of such information. The origin is CIA and NSA. Rarely DIA.

And anyone who trusts those people needs to see a doctor, quick.

If these facts can be reasonably ascertained, Russia must pay a price.

Didn't Obama supply the Taliban? Russia is fighting them. I don't believe this.

From FreeBeacon, an excellent patriot website...

The top U.S. commander in Afghanistan said Thursday that Russia and Iran are supporting the Taliban in part to undermine the U.S. and NATO mission to attain peace and stability in the nation.

Army Gen. John Nicholson told the Senate Armed Services Committee that Iran is providing the Taliban in western Afghanistan with military and logistical support.

Tehran also is recruiting Shiite fighters in Afghanistan to fight against the Islamic State in Syria and Iraq, raising concerns that these militants will return and destabilize the nation , Nicholson testified. ...”
