Typically, Saudi groups tended to fund 99-percent of the Taliban in the past. There might be some Russian arms merchants doing some trade....but it’s private Russians, not the Russian government.

The general should, at least, itemize some evidence they have. He doesn’t have to produce it, of course as much is likely classified.
Something like: We have ascertained the origin of HW shipment originating at x and ended up at y. The shipment consisted of products xyz. And: we have traced money from a to b. And: We have detected Russian Sepcops...or contractors (synonymous) at location x.
I trust our military men to tell the truth as they know it. But they are not the origin of such information. The origin is CIA and NSA. Rarely DIA.
And anyone who trusts those people needs to see a doctor, quick.
If these facts can be reasonably ascertained, Russia must pay a price.
