The EU wants that more than anything. That’ll really give them opportunity to increase the crises to the point where the people will want some kind of strongman.

This will punish those in Europe who want to visit or do business with England.

if the UK refuses to pay a £50 billion Brexit divorce bill.

The UK should claim PTSD, abuse, assault and battery. The EU can keep the kids they adopted from their borders.

I would pay in nuclear weapons and ask “do you want more?”

“Who thought in 1918 Europe would be at war again 20 years later?”

Actually, somewhere in between “some” and “many” did; it’s discoverable in literature of the time. Though of course reports of that kind of sentiment would understandably be swamped by the relief that that most horrible war was over.

Incidentally, another Freeper turned me onto Dan Carlin’s “Hardcore History” in which there is a 6 part podcast/narrative about WW1 “Blueprint for Armageddon” which is superb. I happen to think that the causes of WW1 were multiples of times more complex than WW2 and are generally not well understood.

The EU elites are more canny than they appear. There are just enough Islamists there to keep the people demanding solutions, yet not enough to destroy their socialist paradise.

They are showing their true colors with this present move. Left to their own devices, they’ll be free to push their twisted agenda as far as they please to.

LOL. Alternatively, the UK could suggest they speak with the complaint department.

Thanks man.

Yeah the story everyone knows is the Duke got executed, allies felt they had to strike first, and the war started.

Maybe he was an archduke. Who the hell knows. My history sucks :)

May has no leverage

Brussels holds all the cards, especially the Ace of Diamonds which has a blue cross painted on it and some hairy guy yelling FREEDOM at the top of his lungs.

The English will huff and puff, but they will eventually do as they are told. They are used to taking instructions from foreigners. It’s been a long long time since the English were bulldogs, now just poodles

God works in mysterious ways. Has anyone noticed that the flag carrying Totalitarians all around the world are being exposed for everyone to see? And these elitists think that we are to stupid to notice it! Well now, tell that to the people who voted for Brexit, and the American Deplorables. These people are in for a world of hurt! And it couldn’t have happened to a more deserving bunch of dirt bags. Hey, is it too late to donate to La Pen?

May is certainly that way. That’s why Europhile Cameron had her in mind as his replacement, to sabotage the exit.

The EEC was a grand idea and successful beyond belief. It created an economic union of free trade between the nations of Europe, much like the United States in our free trade between our individual Republic States.

The EEC has killed itself by becoming a multinational governing body that is controlling the individual nations in areas that are not trade but impinge on national sovereignty. The EEC has committed suicide.

The unconstitutional primacy of the Federal Government in the United States in relationship to State rights is doing much the same with the same result.

The Tenth Amendment (Amendment X) to the United States Constitution, which is part of the Bill of Rights, was ratified on December 15, 1791.[1] It expresses the principle of federalism and states' rights, which strictly supports the entire plan of the original Constitution for the United States of America, by stating that the federal government possesses only those powers delegated to it by the United States Constitution. All remaining powers are reserved for the states or the people.
