Heck, these are just run of the mill "unnamed U.S. officials". Several days ago we had "senior American officials" as unnamed sources. The Fake News Left is even downgrading their unnamed sources now.

Unnamed sources suggest that Alan Neuhauser may have sexually molested at least three 4-year-olds before and after he wrote this article.
The sources also advanced the idea that as Neuhauser was in the middle of writing his column, he could not stop laughing over the fact that US News and World Report pays him to sh!tpost for mass consumption.
