White House presented Freedom Caucus with 'final offer' on Obamacare replacement
CNBC ^ | March 23rd, 2017 | Jacob Pramuk

The White House gave the House Freedom Caucus a final offer as it tries to win support for a bill to repeal and replace parts of Obamacare, but the conservative group's leader said no deal was reached by Thursday afternoon.

The lack of an agreement throws more doubts on a planned Thursday night vote on the legislation. The conservative contingent has threatened the bill's passage, as its members have said the GOP plan does not go far enough to repeal the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare.

President Donald Trump met with the contingent earlier as he and House GOP leaders aim to rally enough support. Following the meeting, though, Freedom Caucus chairman Rep. Mark Meadows told reporters "there are not enough votes" to push the legislation through yet.

1) The substitution of your own personal moral code in place of the Constitution which IS the Supreme law of the Land, and your calling the Rule of Law of the Constitution “a piece of paper” is advocating tyranny, which is the rule of man.

2) The individual mandate of Obamabuse is patently unconstitutional. Therefore, an executive order rendering such unconstitutional act ineffective is an act in support of the Constitution.

Polls show this bill with a 17% favorability—Trump would only be hurting himself by pushing for it further at this point.

Because it is at least as bad as Obamacare 1.0.

Because that is what Ryan, Priebus and Pence told him to say.

My point is clear, if you have a rogue Government passing laws that are antithetical to God and freedom, you do whatever it takes to get back to same.

You agreed with me that Trump's executive order to the IRS not to enforce mandate was right, as to return to some semblance of Constitutional governance. If in the new law there's found something just as agregious, would it not be right also for Trump to use his pen?

Do I like it? No. But these are desperate times, and desperate times call for desperate measures.

There is one more point I would like for you to consider. If President Trump fails in accomplishing the many tasks set before him, you can put your head between your legs and kiss your %#@ goodbye, because it will be the end of civilization as we know it.

It should be the other way around - Freedom Caucus should present THEIR demands to Ryan (and Trump) about what should be in the bill - or simply say WE WILL VOTE NO.

ex ACT LEEE

oFFENSE OFFENSE. ATTACK.

The Freedom Caucus should be talking about their bill.

These phases are typical Ryan B.S. He loves to come up with ten year plans that get changed or defunded down the road but look great for your reelection that is 18 months away.

It didn’t take odumbi ten dang years to create obamacare it should take even less to destroy it.

GET RID OF RYAN
NUKE THE FILIBUSTER
KILL OBAMACARE

Actually, the left estate has been trying for socialized medicine since around the turn of the century. It didn’t happen overnight

“Agregious” (egregious) is not the standard for valid federal law. The Constitution is the standard. To the extent you are willing to violate the Constitution because you think a law is egregious, to that extent you promote tyranny.

My faith is in God, not man. I think Trump is God’s man for this hour, but my faith is not in him but in God who miraculously brought Trump to power and who has plans for America that will supersede Satan’s plans.

Ok, so when they pass a law that says your belief in the Bible can cause harm to others, so you must turn it in, or if you don't take the DNA upgrade to extend your life, you're an enemy of the state, you be sure to submit, because it's the law and the Constitution is your final authority.

No thanks, when it comes down to submitting to man's law and condemning my soul to an eternity in hell, or being obedient to God, I'll take the latter.

Yet President Trump using his executive authority is equivalent to being a dictator. Perhaps your faith in God is more shallow than you realize, or God got this one wrong.

If those were federal laws they would be unconstitutional and void.

submitting to man's law and condemning my soul to an eternity in hell

You need to familiarize yourself with the new covenant of the grace of Jesus Christ found in the New Testament of the Bible.

There's only one way you can have eternal life, and that is by receiving Jesus Christ (John 3:15-16). Likewise, there is only one thing that will condemn your soul to hell, and that is by not receiving Jesus Christ (John 3:18).

You also need to familiarize yourself with the Declaration of Independence (D of I) and the Constitution. Man's law are not an issue of your eternal soul because only Jesus is the dispenser of eternal life. Man's laws are an issue of living free and happy on this earth.

You would do well to abandon your agreement with the totalitarian Left that the Constitution (and the D of I) is "just a piece of paper". The Constitution is the Supreme Law of the Land (U.S. Const. Art VI, Cl 2).

Do you understand that the Rule of Law in America is the Constitution? Do you understand the difference between the Rule of Law which protects freedom and life, and the rule of man, which brings tyranny and death?

The Rule of Law in America isn't just any old law the feds decide to pass. If the law violates the Constitution, it is invalid law (U.S. Const. Art IV, Sec 4). The Constitution legally protects your God-given freedoms including free exercise of religion and your right to pursue happiness as you see fit.

I would urge you to get a better understanding of what is yours in the Bible and in the Constitution. The new covenant of the grace of Jesus Christ in the Bible is designed to set you free and the Constitution is designed to protect that freedom.

It is not dictatorial to defy tyranny and enforce the Constitution which is what this EO does. In the last few decades, the feds have failed in their constitutionally mandated duty to protect the U.S. from invasion (Art VI, Sec 4). (Illegal immigration and immigration of enemies is invasion.) Trump’s EO is based on that constitutional mandate and is thus not dictatorial but constitutional and pursuant also to current federal law.
