True, especially if they expect other people to pay for it!
Our “conservatives” and our new president have made zero effort to take real, conservative reform to the people. Trump has the bully pulpit and this honeymoon phase of his presidency is his best chance to get get worthwhile legislation through.
But they’ve ended up as disingenuous and slippery as Obama, Zeke, and the Dems in selling an if anything worse version of Obamacare on us.
“For all its catastrophic flaws, ObamaCare changed expectations. Does any Republican propose returning to a time when you can be denied health insurance because of a pre-existing condition?”
What he is really asking is, “Does any Republican propose returning to a time when we had health care insurance?”
The only simple fix, even though it would necessarily create chaos in the beginning would be to get the government completely out of healthcare. A huge portion of healthcare costs, I won’t attempt to name a percentage, comes from government meddling. Of course that is also true of the costs of almost everything else. You cannot turn the world over to corrupt bureaucrats who have no incentive to do the right thing without creating hell on Earth.
