You’re not. His base are those white voters in the Rust Belt who voted for Obama twice. They aren’t conservative. How could they be, voting for Obama twice.
What they are is abused, and he’s the only one who sought them out and promised to start undoing that abuse.
That doesn’t mean he’s going to be conservative. It means he’s going to target help for them. For example, by browbeating companies to bring jobs back, even if doing so hurts profits via higher pay.
That’s not conservative.
Just shut up. He is the ONLY one who could have beaten Hillary. He put her out in the woods. No one else could have.
