Can’t speak to England, been to Ireland a few times, in Ireland police are rarely armed. However, the police that are armed are very well armed, BUT they have “armed patrol” blazed in graphics of every side of the car. It’s like telling an asailent exactly what car to consentrate fire on as it pulls up. Insane!

Terrible thing I heard is that this cop was armed and he still let the jihadi stab him to death even though there was no surprise and lots of noise going on and he wasn’t sneak attacked. He was likely worried about political correctness and didn’t want to shoot the ethnic looking guy attacking him with a knife.
