I’ve sat in on wiretaps. When you’re ‘read in’ you’re given specific instructions on how to determine if something is “pertinent” or “non pertinent”. It ain’t easy and it’s done in real time. Meaning, that you have to decide, within an allotted time frame, if the conversation is relevant to the investigation. If not, you hit the button and stop recording. If so, then record all you want.
Things may have changed since then and it may be different when talking about terrorism stop, rather than some hoodrat selling coke, but I was told that recording non-pertinent material was a YUGE, NO-NO. These people are such scum of the earth.

I have been doing some research on this ‘wire tapping’ thing, and found some interesting subjects...one was Manafort when he lived at Trump Tower and had his business office there, some 11 years ago...that is when he was involved with Ukraine...then there was something about the Russians that lived at Trump Tower was being investigated for ‘internet gambling’...
And of course, there were stories of Roger Stone, who has a lot of information on a lot of people that doesn't like the fact that he knows what he knows, if you have noticed, the Bushes on the book Stone wrote: “Jeb! and the Bush Crime Family” and the book on “Clinton Crime Family”...he is very detailed and have support for what he writes...
Then there is the ‘Hillary's America’ that the author was put in jail for and then there is the book about being a SS for the Clintons, and then the book about how Hillary did what she did to sell Uranium to Russia and got speaking fees for the former POTUS to fund their Clinton Foundation...and none of those people have been ‘sued’ because there couldn't be any lawsuits due to the nature of what all these crime people did...
We will also find out IMHO the real Iran deal, if you notice President Trump on several occasions lately has said that he keeps asking how did that deal go down and no one knows, right...this man doesn't say something unless he has the facts to back it up...
This summer things will be running like they are suppose to be, and a lot of the ‘mediacrats’ and their b.s. will be just that a lot of hot air making our atmosphere hotter than heck...
We picked a good man to right the ship of America and her people, we just have a really big mess on our hands at this time and it will take time to sort it out and clean it out, soon we will see Comey; McCabe and lots of others get their pink slips...
As far as the RINO’s and the libs, ROFL...they are already been put in the trash can and hauled off to the trash dump where they belong...
If the surveillance was electronic then the information travelled by wires and that falls under wiretapping.

The issue is whether there was probable cause to conduct surveillance on American citizens (or a presidential candidate).
Probable cause is defined as the reasonable likelihood that a crime is or has been committed by the person or at the place being surveiled.
Well, I'm sure he had permission from the presumptive soon-to-be president Hillary, so that made it OK.
What news would it bury?
Fox News reported that Pres.Trump was also tapped in this “incidental” surveillance that happened AFTER THE ELECTION in Nov., Dec., &Jan. So the President was right again, and we need to find out if Obama ordered it.
Spicer’ news conference isn’t about this, of course, but the Democrat press is all about Manafort and RUSSIA. RIDICULOUS.

Exactly. Where was the probable cause for the surveillance on the citizens that were bugged? Sure looks like a fishing expedition at this point.
Now, everything Possible is recorded. Accessing, using, and personally identifying is where the decisions are made.
The intel heads, clapper, comey, and Brennan at least are in trouble over this.
Ifair- clapper said under oath that there was no surveillance to his knowledge, and that he was in a position to know.
There is lots of lying under oath going on!
