Three California Democrats have a warning for contractors who sign up for President Donald Trumps border-wall construction project between the U.S. and Mexico: Build it, and we will divest from your company. In the latest act of resistance against the Trump administration, the state lawmakers have introduced a bill that would force the state to drop its pension investments in any companies involved in the project. This is a wall of shame and we dont want any part of it, Assemblyman Phil Ting, D-San Francisco, said in a statement. Immigrant stories are the history of America and this is a nightmare. The announcement of the proposal came on Monday, three days after the U.S. Customs and Border Protection requested proposals for border wall prototypes. Assembly Bill 946 would require the California Public Employee Retirement System and the California State Teachers Retirement System the two largest public pension funds in the nation, with investments of $312 billion and $202 billion, respectively to liquidate investments in any company involved with the walls construction within a year. It would also require the pension-fund management to report a list of those companies to the Legislature.

The good business owners of heavy duty construction for the most part avoid doing business with the state of California for many reasons.
Damn environmental hoops to jump through to name just one...
People need to openly question Mr. Ting’s intelligence. He seems too STUPID to understand the difference between a legal immigrant (green card) and someone who has snuck into the counrry.
Stupid people like him need to be mocked.
Watch president Trump contract the job to an Israeli construction company!
THEN, let’s see what Kalifornication does.
The good business owners of heavy duty construction for the most part avoid doing business with the state of California for many reasons.
Why not divest? California has already divested from reality.
Ca can’t pay it’s bills. No loss in losing that customer
This has probably already been litigated, but I wonder if retirees would have standing to sue if rates of return are adversely affected by divestment policies that have nothing to do with business decisions.
“Damn environmental hoops to jump through to name just one...”
PC Affirmative Action Idiots working for the state, who couldn’t get a job with a good contruction company.

What few people know is after the 1907 earthquake, outside of Santa Cruz, San Francisco cut down huge portions of the Redwood Forest.
They used to wood to fuel kilns creating lime for concrete.
The kilns are still there but the redwoods are gone.
Yeah, these Marxist liberals hate the law, and do everything they can to pander to ILLEGALS for votes. It has always been about totalitarian power with them.
“””Aided and abetted by radical left democrats who are damned traitors! The radical left is the real enemy!”””
Radical left democrats are not the only ones to blame for the invasion into our country.
The Republican Elite also support the invasion.
Correction: 1906 quake

I’ve visited Kalifornia a few times but it’s been 20 years since the last visit. I imagine many areas really are Mexifornia now.
If I had been permanently living there 20 yrs. ago, as a Conservative I am pretty sure I would have sold when property values were high and moved to a Red state.
