Even ignoring the fact that Diana was beautiful and charming, while whatever charms Camilla may have are always well hidden from the public, his behavior was worthy of a snowflake decades before being a wimp was in style.

Diana confided in her sisters that she wanted to call off the wedding and they told her ‘It’s too late. Your face is on the Tea Towels’. Diana was beautiful, but the many stories about her eating disorder (bulimia) made the ‘fairy tale’ an empty story. I remember reading one account of some food that Diana was having at dinner and Charles asked her ‘will we be seeing that again later?’. He was cruel to her, and after she produced the ‘heir and the spare’ that was required, their marriage was over. I also read he hated that fact that the crowds came to see her, not him. I hope his reign is short. The man is not a good person.
