I would love to see my two senators, McCain and Flake and my lefty democrat congress critter, O'Halleran strapped into a recycled Russian Soyuz and launched into orbit.
No need to go to the effort to bring any of them back.

Imagine if they sent Shelia Jackson Lee to the moon and she sees the American flag there. She’ll be so proud of herself being the first woman to step on the surface of MARS!

I'm thinking of the TV commercial (1970s or '80s?) for Del Monte ketchup. A little boy is shown at a dining table, about to take a bite out of a hamburger. In a voice-over, Bill Cosby asks the boy to trade his hamburger with Del Monte ketchup in exchange for his sister being sent to the moon.
The boy replies that he has two sisters. Bill's voice replies: "They'll both go!"
****
Hey, I'll help our esteemed representatives pack for the trip.

Considering that most in Congress are spaced out and incapable of rational thought, yeah, send them in a ship towards the sun.

Sending the MSM into space isn't a bad idea.
To: Rurudyne
What do you have against Nome?
I think space is an excellent idea. A Solar orbit would do. A close orbit. A very close orbit.
To: Olog-hai
I have a better idea:
CONGRESSIONAL TERM LIMITS ..!!!!!!!
It’s time. After watching the horribly disgraceful actions of the very senior members of the Senate for the last two days, I’m convinced none of them even knew what was written on their statement papers .. because they were written by someone else .. probably their staff members between the ages of 20-30.
Ms. Feinstein was especially grotesque .. she had no clue what she was talking about.
IT’S TIME FOR - CONGRESSIONAL TERM LIMITS - NO MORE OF THIS LIFETIME IN THE SENATE OR THE HOUSE.
The only LIFETIME is for the SUPREME COURT.
