WASHINGTON ― Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) wants the Senate to delay a vote on President Donald Trump’s Supreme Court pick as long as Trump’s campaign remains under investigation by the FBI.
Democrats have struggled to come up with a cohesive strategy on how to handle the vote to confirm Neil Gorsuch, whom Trump picked in January to fill Justice Antonin Scalia’s vacant seat on the high court.
On Monday, FBI Director James Comey confirmed in his testimony to Congress that his agency is investigating ties between the Trump campaign and the Russian government.
“There is a cloud now hanging over the head of the president, and while that’s happening, to have a lifetime appointment made by this president seems very unseemly and there ought to be a delay,” Schumer told reporters on Tuesday.
The only reason Gorsuch has a chance to win confirmation now is because Republicans refused to even hold a hearing for President Barack Obama’s nominee after Scalia died in February more than a year ago. Obama’s pick, Merrick Garland, went through all the motions of meeting senators, but Republicans refused to consider him because Obama was going to leave office in a little less than a year.

The FBI is investigating any possible so-called Russian ties to the campaign, not Donald Trump himself.
Even Lezzie Warren (Dumbass, Massachusetts) tweeted out that Neil Gorsuch was nominated by a man under FBI investigation.

We need a couple of REAL mavericks in charge who will start demanding a REAL VOTE on everything they vote on - no more of a ‘quick scan of raised hands’...
It is easy for the louse to say “I voted against our raise” if all they have to do is make a ‘gesture’.
If they have to stand up and say ‘Yeigh or Neigh’ and get it on record, hard to prove they didn’t...
Not that it really matters to them...
And Schumer intends for Trump to be investigated the entire time he’s in office I’m sure....
There was no investigation of Obama no matter what objections anyone had or what he did in secret.
How the heck do democrats have the numbers to impeach, let alone convict? Also does Schumer believe in guilt before proven innocent? If that is the rule, then Obama or any other President would not have appointed or passed a law throughout all of their term(s).

Impeachment with Senate trial, conviction and removal from office is a political act not a criminal one. Remember Alcee Hastings was impeached, convicted and removed from his federal judgeship over bribery but the government couldn’t get a criminal conviction. So now he infests Congress.
So in theory a President could be impeached & removed over his taste in clothes.
Not going to happen with Trump, more Rat & High RINO (McCain & Graham) propaganda! (Note I prefer the old word “propaganda” to the new buzz word “fake news”!)

Comey should be impeached for even mentioning an ongoing investigation. Frankly I don’t believe there is one. Comey made it up to protect his sorry political a$$ from being fired. Sure they might have one agent “investigating” bit there was no collusion and Comey knows it. He’s just following Soros’ orders to impede Trump and protect the lefties.
He became a politician as soon as he graduated law school and passed his bar exam. So that means "no". He has been nothing but a dirt-bag scum-sucking rat all his life!
So in Schumer’s world, Comey has veto power and the investigations will never end. Meanwhile Hillary and her advisers skate while Democrat house members have opened themselves to vast security breaches by their Muslim IT staff and no one cares.
We need to keep reminding ourselves: they are promoting an alternate reality that only needs to make sense to dimwits, about 30% of Americans in their deep blue districts and states, and to the MSM, in order for them to obstruct and hold any remaining power.
They are hanging by the thinnest of threads.
But nothing is beyond them. Expect anything: invented scandal evidence, economic collapse, terror - they don’t care who gets hurt.
