This is a stupid question by Graham.
The House writes up the charge, passes it onto the Senate.
The Senate must get a 2/3’s majority. With this scenario in place, it’s impossible to think of any way that an impeachment would happen with anyone.
Then they hand the paperwork over to the Sec of State. End of the whole process. No action by the Supreme Court.
The stupidity of Graham just amazes me that he wastes time like this and ask a question like this.
He’s hinting at a novel interpretation of high crimes and misdemeanors, in my opinion, which very well could land in the Supreme Court.
Not just grandstanding, there’s a purpose.
