The Republican fails to comprehend that if Trump goes down in any way, they will be finished as a party. They will lose Congress in one of those massive landslides, and they will never win the White House again. Their only hope is to support Trump and do what needs to be done for the benefit of the American people. If they can't do that, there will only be two choices: Submit to Democrat authoritarianism, or civil war.
If Trump succeeds most of them will eventually be unmasked and wind up in prison, or at a minimum lose their power/wealth/status as a result of uncovering years of corruption.
I think they would prefer to take Trump down, lose their "jobs" and retire wealthy and protected.
I suspect they are finished as a party anyway. The GOPee has lost the base. When we watch this cr@p and listen to Linda and her husband we know they are the problem, not Trump.
The only reason we haven't left is that we haven't figured out where we're going.
