Oh tut tut...I'm sure the Canadians will welcome all the Latino vendors with their colorful wares and foodies lining their streets!

And there's the excitement of coming upon an illegal driving at night with headlights off to avoid Policia!

They remember what happened when the took in our draft dodgers during Vietnam. Contrary to leftist myths they didn’t get our best and brightest in the deal.

They got our "leftest" in the deal. According to leftist mythology, those are the "brightest" by definition.

Canada passed a law in 2004 that effectively bans anyone entering Canada via the United States from claiming refugee status at the border, called the Safe Third Country Agreement.

“The presumption is that the United States is a safe country so they don’t need to request protection in Canada if they can already request asylum, protection or refugee status in the United States,

Last month as thousands shared photos of smiling Canadian
police helping a family of Somali refugees fleeing U.S. border agents, a Reuters report confirms a much different reality.

Moments after that family managed to cross into Canada, they were all handcuffed and placed in Canada’s migrant detention system.

Canadians are like us.

Flyover country detests illegals as law breakers and moochers.

Support only comes from the big cities with their liberal leaders.

Came across your post to me twice before I read it.

I swear, when I looked at your pseudonym, it immediately read “eyes roll” each time at first. LOL

Then I read your post and it seemed to fit.

Evidently Canada’s got a shortage of compassion this month. “:^)

I’d double-deport them, back to Trump who can deport them to their “home” country.

Given the Canadian political system, the 36%, if they all vote for Trudope, can still form government depending on where the support is concentrated. I would assume most of the opposition is in the Prairies, Quebec outside Montreal and rural Ontario.

That’s a good question. If they arrive over the border from America, I would suspect that’s where they get sent back to......if they’re sent back at all. We love to take in the ones that will be at the public trough for more goodies than Carter has liver pills, so we could very well be keeping them....if they promise to vote liberal forever.

Of those stopped in 2017, 476 were arrested in January and 658 in February, an increase that prompted renewed attention from the Opposition on Tuesday.

“Canadians are tired of the Liberals inaction and denial. Where is the plan?” said Conservative public safety critic Tony Clement.

What’s driving the asylum seekers into Canada has been the subject of intense debate.

Immigration Minister Ahmed Hussen told MPs Monday that a deeper dive into the backgrounds of those crossing between official ports of entry suggests the political atmosphere in the U.S. isn’t to blame.

In Emerson, Man., where 142 people were apprehended in February, 65 were from Somalia and 60 from Djibouti.

Of the 60 from Djibouti, 49 held valid U.S. visas which had been issued only a few months prior, suggesting they’d intended to use the U.S. as a way point to get into Canada.

“This is definitely not specific to the incoming U.S. administration,” Hussen said.
