You Don't talk for me! Le Pen and Macron clash in fiery debate about the burkini
Express ^ | 3/20/2017 | Katie Mansfield

In a heated exchange the frontrunners turned their attention to the burkini and secularism......

... Marine Le Pen said: "I know you Mr. Macron are in favour of the burkini on the beach."

But the centrist Emmanuel Macron fired back...

He said: "No, Madame Le Pen don't put words in my mouth. I don't need the talent of a ventriloquist. When I have something to say, I will say so myself."

Determined not to drop the topic, Ms. Le Pen: "So what do you think of the burkini?"

Mr. Macron said: "My views om the burkini have nothing to do with secularism, it is to do with public order. I want to avoid any troubles with public order to divide society.

The trap in which you have fallen is to divide our society.

Over four million French people whose religion is Islam, and most of whom are not in favor of communitarianism, you want to turn them into enemies of the Republic."....

Ms. Le Pen, who has been leading in opinion polls to win the first run off...fired back.

She said: "I hear people talking about liberty and we have these young women who cannot dress the way they would like to. They are forced to war an Islamic veil simply because we have allowed Islamic fundamentalists to take over.".....

She said: "There is something no-one has mentioned perhaps because they are closely involved, it is when people benefit from the system, they go through the best elite schools and then they become a banker and then they go into politics."

Mr. Macron, a 39-year-old former economy minister and investment banker who has never run for elected office, took offence.

He said: "I feel she is aiming that at me. You would be bored if I was not here".....

The top five polling French presidential candidates debated last night and Marine Le Pen confronted her main rival, the globalist banker turned politician Emmanuel Macron.

The polling data points to these two being the top two finishers on April 23rd and the final two in the final round on May 7th.

The Socialist Sun King Macron will be the death of France. The Catholic Conservative candidate Francois Fillon is the only real hope to stop him. The media elites are pushing Macron, and the ridiculous Le Pen, who has no chance to defeat him. If a Socialist and Le Pen win the first round, the Socialist win will easily in the second round.

What's the voter fraud situation there?
After Donald Trump, they worked a little harder in Denmark to defeat Wilder
I cannot believe a globalist who wants women to wear a burkini to appease the muzzies is even close...

Donald Trump was the nominee of one of the two major parties in this country. The majority of French people are not going to vote fascist, and that is what the “National Front” is. There are still many French people alive who remember World War II.

France never had a Reagan or a Thatcher. They did have a DeGaulle, but he has been gone for almost fifty years, and France has been declining into socialism since. Fascism is not the antidote to Marxism, freedom is.

GO Marine Le Pen!

As far as I am concerned she is a modern political Joan of Arc.

Voter fraud doesn’t typically occur in Europe.

You have to be pre-registered in your village or town. You have to present a state-produced ID at the station when voting. Only citizens of the nation will get the state-produced ID. For a dead guy to vote, you’d have to go down and vote that Sunday morning, and die exiting the building....there’s just not dead folks registered to city registrations (they’d note this via a dozen different ways).

If they say X-number came and voted....it’s pretty much a 99.999-percent chance that it was legit. You could have absentee ballots sent to old folks in retirement homes and ‘junior’ coming in to fill out the ballot for the relative. That’s about the only way of some fraud coming to exist.

“Sun King Macron”? Were his parents megalomaniacs when they named him, or is he, and this his personal nom de guerre?

“Mr. Macron said: “My views om the burkini have nothing to do with secularism, it is to do with public order. I want to avoid any troubles with public order to divide society.”

You mean, if women won’t wear burkinis, Muslims will assault them and riot in the streets? Well, then, the hell with them. That’s not “public order,” that’s extortion.

LePen should win because France has a nude city on the Mediterranean coast. If they want to ruin tourism, let the Muzzies win...the city will be the first city to have Burka’s...instead of naturists vacationing there..

There is no Catholic Conservative party in overwhelmingly secular France. And, Fillon is a peculiar standard bearer for it, even if there were such a thing. His “fake job” scandal involving numerous family members is the reason why he fell behind Le Pen and Macron. So, if Fillon was the only hope of stopping Socialist Macron, that hope failed with his apparent corruption. That only leaves Marine Le Pen, unless something radically changes between now and their election.

Le Pen: Macron is in favor of burkini!

Macron: Not true! Do not put words in my mouth.

Le Pen: Okay? Are you in favor of burkini?

Macron: I refuse to say!

What a buffoon. Nothing but a tool. Macron’s the EU version of Hillary Clinton: Lie, obfuscate, lie, deny, lie, deflect, lie, avoid, lie....

Louis XIV was the “Sun King,” who knowingly spent France into bankruptcy.

Wilders is Dutch.

Last year, when people on FR were complaining about the choices and saying Trump was not the ideal candidate, my response was "Jesus is not on the ballot".

Le Pen is the ONLY candidate on the ballot in favor of stopping Islamic immigration. The ONLY one.

Europe is in no danger of fascism. Europe IS in danger of being taken over by the emerging Caliphate.

Wilder - Netherlands (not Denmark). And the press spin that his party increasing its representation in the Dutch Parliament by 50% was some sort of defeat just doesn’t fly with anyone who understands how that type of system works. Big pendulum swings generally take longer when you have a dozen small parties instead of two big ones running things. With the second largest number of seats, but with no portfolio in government, Wilder and his party will only become stronger.

According to LeFebvre’s Coming of the French Revolution, Louis XV was the one who spent France into bankruptcy supporting the American Revolution, which forced him to call the Estats General, since the Nobility refused to allow him to raise taxes on constitutional grounds without calling a meeting of the estates.

The British National Front was for expelling all foreigners, including Jews and Irishmen. I am not sure that the French Front Nationale is the same party, but it’s only pushing for halting Islamic immigration, which is far from fascism. It’s common sense after multiple terror attacks.

From what I’ve read, Le Pen is anti-EU, anti-Islamic, and in favor of the native French people. I haven’t seen anything seriously objectionable about her. Her father (from whom she wrested control of the party a few years back) WAS a bit of a fascist, but Marine Le Pen does not seem to be.
