For the U.S. the primary force of leverage against Russia today is the ability to affect the world oil and gas market. This began under Obama despite his all-out war on fossil fuel. Obama’s ideology and his corruption prevented him from ever developing an energy scheme that would advance U.S. foreign policy. Plus he surrounded himself with ignorant sycophants.

Hillary Clinton vowed to continue Obama’s fossil fuel crackdown and his bankrupting environmental regulations.

Russia's GDP has declined for four consecutive years. They are running out of cash. At $70 a bbl oil they were in a comfort zone. But at $50 they are in negative growth. At $30 Russia will be in an extreme crisis. And $30 a bbl will be the result of Trump's “drill baby drill” policy which he proclaimed from the beginning of his campaign.

Why Putin would wish a Trump White House over Hillary makes no sense.

Comey took the investigation of Huma’s laptop away from NYPD because if he did not they were going public with some of the info. He did this to prevent it from coming out prior to election. Why? your guess is as good as mine.
