Anybody ever hear of a proponent of socialism who sees
themselves as a common factory or farm worker in their
workers paradise world? No, they see themselves as
philosophers, teachers, organizers, in charge of
scant resource distribution, or in charge of others.
There will always be the wealthy and the not so wealthy.
It is just as true for socialism as it is for
capitalism.
Socialism is for the people, not the Socialists.
Under capitalism, man exploits man. Under communism, it's the other way around.
(off the streets of Warsaw, ca. 1960)
Reminds me of a professor who b!tched that his salary wouldn’t buy him the bigger SUV he wanted.
He had no concept that he was complaining to his CUSTOMERS; he truly spoke as if he were anointed Illuminati and deserved a certain lifestyle regardless of whether he produced anything useful or not.
And no doubt although he wanted the SUV of his dreams, he thinks we should all ride bikes or drive Smart cars, bank on it.
