Buck’s gotta stop somewhere. A president’s responsibility for and influence over national security is a fairly important matter.

What they were supposed to have done is irrelevant. As long as they can keep the narrative lie going, it is slowly influencing the public perception.

It worked with "Hands Up, Don't Shoot."

I'm not disagreeing. Just saying that if the same happens in 2018 or 2020 then we will have to have the buck stop at the same desk.

I don't know if any President could have stopped what happened this past election. Some of the best cyber security has been compromised and is being so compromised today.

Why cant the FBI go to the NY Times reporters and demand they give up their source for the Flynn transcripts? Fitzgerald put Judith Miller in prison for not disclosing. Send the NY Slimes scum to jail until they give it up.

Spying and hacking goes on daily. Our defensive intelligence agencies are supposed to be on full alert always. But, of course, they are directed from the very top. If the top guys (the president and cabinet officers like Hillary Clinton, for example) are lax security-wise, then what happens to national security, effectiveness and readiness?

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was running an unauthorized, unsecure, homegrown private server for crying out loud. Pimply faced teenagers were reading her classified mail for sport. How and why did Benghazi happen?

These lapses have real-world consequences.

Trump wants to drain the dc swamp. Pray he is successful. The deep state enemy within will be fighting him all the way. Trump is taking the beast head-on and is therefore placing himself in grave danger.

Phishing is a hack

It is stupidity on the idiot that responds to it. A hack is when you go into the targets computer and steal info without his knowledge nor assistance in the hack.

Podesta was just plain stupid. Please send me your bank account numbers, social security numbers etc. and if I were a bad person I could empty your accounts. This is not a hack but merely malignant stupidlity by the person that would give such information. Podesta was an idiot.

No, and I don’t think the Russians had anything to do with that damned video that caused Benghazi.

Do the Democrats want to go to war with Russia?

This is the question we should all be asking right now because this is what it looks like.

Juan Williams claimed today that the Russians were behind convincing many voters that Hillary was dishonest. That was Juan’s explanation as to what the Russians did to help President Trump get elected. As if the Russians needed to tell us that! I guess that is the Democrat talking point to answer your question. Laughable that they would come up with that but they had to find something that would cover for Hillary and explain what the Russians supposedly did to sway the election.

I don’t see how anyone can fall for this, I know people that supported Hillary that admit she is dishonest- they just said she was still better than Trump in their mind.

Even when President Clinton was in office I thought Hillary was far more dishonest than he was. I truly thought she was the woman behind the man in a lot of what was going on. She has proved her dishonesty in oh so many ways since then. I certainly knew she was dishonest before Trump declared his candidacy.

Good post sir!

The Clinton foundation received almost 200 million dollars from Russian Oligarchs. These people are very bad dudes and actually the KGB turned capitalists monopolies of Russian wealth. They give nothing to anyone unless there is a payoff for them. They invested heavily in Hillary. They give millions to hear Bill Clinton give a speech as did the oil monarchs in the Middle East. The speeches were not that good.

It is absolutely true that the Russians interfered in our elections via vast sums of money to the Clintons. However, their candidate that they backed with millions and millions of dollars lost!

When she lost I suspect Putin said, “Shite, 300 million dollars wasted on that incompetent woman.”

I'm with you on Hillary's server.

But the information that was put forth for the election came from Podesta emails and DNC servers. Not Hillary's private server (which I do hold Obama accountable for.) While Obama and now Trump have macro responsibility for cyber security to the general population for personal email, servers and so forth, he doesn't hold micro responsibility that I believe you're trying to assign. That belongs to the DNC and I believe Yahoo for Podesta's email.

All I'm stating is if we're going to hold Obama responsible in a micro way for the hacking that took place on the DNC servers and Podesta's email, then if the same happens to the RNC or the DNC or any candidates in 2018 and 2020 the micro responsibility will then have to be Trump's.

This isn't a Trump vs Obama responsibility thing. It's a position responsibility issue. If the President is responsible in 2016, then the President in 2018 and 2020 has the same responsibility if hacks occur and if they do how did they happen.

How in the world did the Rooskies affect the election if there was no voter fraud? Now there’s a neat trick if ever there was one.
