In the early morning hours after a long election night, Trump campaign manager Kellyanne Conway said she received a call from the Clinton campaign that Team Hillary only a day earlier seemed confident would never happen.
I look down literally it was like a movie my phone is ringing and it said Huma Abedin [Clintons longtime aide]. And I said, Hey, Huma. Whats up? Conway recalled during a talk at the National Review Institutes Ideas Summit in Washington on March 17.
Kellyanne Conway
And shes absolutely lovely, she really is. And shes like Hi Kellyanne, Secretary Clinton would like to speak to Mr. Trump. And I said, Now? And she said, Is he available? And I said, Were very available!
And I handed [Trump] the phone. My husband took a screenshot of that at 2:30 a.m. I handed him the phone and he and Vice President Pence and their wives were there and the rest is history.
So that was just really a remarkable moment and I think it was a remarkable moment for anybody, any David fighting a Goliath, frankly, Conway said.
President Donald Trumps campaign manager, now a top adviser in the new administration, said that the night before the election, she and Clintons team spoke over email about when the concession call would happen.
Robby Mook (Clintons campaign manager) had agreed the night before through an email to me that within 15 minutes of the AP calling the race for Secretary Clinton, they would wait 15 minutes and then she would take to the podium and declare victory, Conway said.
So he was basically saying that you have 15 minutes for Mr. Trump to get out there [and give a concession speech] or shes going to declare victory either way.
And then he

Why did KC have Humas name in her contacts anyway? ;)

Why can’t the rats put up a site like they did when Bush won - We are Sorry - of something like that. I loved it. Looked at every one of thousands of photos and signs. Cheered my up every time I accessed it.
That is hard to believe.
Thanks for the tip, sounds like a keeper series.
I need to record the entire thing whenever I get to feeling politically frustrated.
There IS a God!
No need to be pedantic or condescending.
There are plenty of instances where caller ID is not conveyed, blocked, spoofed or otherwise fails to be transmitted.
Well, she learned from the best...
Remember "President-Elect" Doofus?
With an invented seal and everything?
Bush league embarrassing politics we are not likely to see again for generations.

Agree about the FaceTime session....THAT would’ve been awesome to witness!!
And, about ALL of the benefits of ILLary & Co’s loss....and how it kept these degenerates away from our daily lives. I thank God for that, every day.
Perhaps we need a thread like this *every* Monday. Something to think about...
In the newest episode of The Circus, the three Reporters are discussing how President Bush got together with Senator Kennedy (D-Wormfood) to pass that ridiculous No Child Left Behind Education Bill as a way to show that he was the President of ALL the People, not just his base.
They then remarked that President Trump is only playing to his base, and not ALL the People.
They never mentioned “we won, you lost” Obama.
Democrats in “non-partisan” Media Clothing.
I'm sure the campaigns exchanged points-of-contact info in advance of election day (possibly handled very indirectly through Secret Service IT-Telecom support).
These images are insensitive and are not keeping in spirit with the new progressive goals of our country such as letting queers and rapists use female bathrooms. An immediate apology is desired. Hillary can be reached on Twitter @HILLARYCLINTON. If that doesn't work, you can reach her campaign manager @JohnPodesta assuming he is not molesting any little boys with his pedophilia hobby.
The plan was to cheat her way to the WH, but her minions couldn’t create enough votes to get her there.
My system is different. My telephone service provider is Comcast; my cell phone provider is Verizon, and My home wireless phones are Vtech.
Each has its own set of defaults. That creates a bewildering number of permutations.
I don't pretend to know that I have set it up properly, but sometimes I get a useful caller ID, sometimes unknown caller, sometimes someone who is actually in my phone book.
Unless I see an actual company name or personal name it does not get answered, but may leave a message if they wish, to be culled later.
I am a dedicated phonephobic.
When cell phones became common, a long time ago, I was given a company radio/phone and told I was expected to answer it.
My response was to have it on during working hours, off at all other times.
My official response, being paid hourly, was I will not accept a personal leash of that sort,
and that was that.
I suspect she had another seizure election night.
No doubt...my post was a bit tongue in cheek.
Were I KC I wouldn’t want any contact with the Hillaryites until absolutely necessary ;)
Oh, probably something like this...
I'm quite sure this was pre-arranged and that phone numbers of both campaigns were plugged into speed dial for just such a purpose (one campaign conceding to the other). The Clinton campaign obviously had Kellyanne on speed dial as well.
Best. Election. Ever.
