Hmmm...since 2001? Let’s see that would be the last time we switched from Democrat to Republican?

They also may be quitting their second part time job because they can now work full time.

People are quitting the undesired jobs they were forced into after the recession. They’re getting better jobs or they wouldn’t quit the existing job.

I suppose it’s too much to ask for the reporter to dig a little and find out about the people quitting all these jobs. Why are they quitting? What portion of them are taking better jobs? Etc

Hell, they may even change the headline then to say “most upward job changes since 2001”

No, I haven’t read the article and I won’t go to yahoo news.. you can’t make me ;)

‘the “skills gap” that so many employers and economists discuss as a major factor holding back the U.S. economy.’

Fake news - just an excuse for corporate globalists to gut the American standard of living with further floods of H-1B Third World serf labor. There are 5 million un- or underemployed American STEM professionals.

I say BUNK to this.

America has been exporting jobs to Mexico, to China, and to other countries for years.

I quit a good job about one year ago, because basically, all of the company was being slowly offshored, and it was starting to reach my level in the company.

It is FAR too early for Trump to be impacting the jobs situation, so what we have now is still Obama. And he had done NOTHING for American jobs.

While I am very confident Trump has America in his heart, I do not think those in charge of American businesses have even one slight inclination to support America.

That is why Trump was elected, in my view.

Whether he lives up to the hope so many have, is another question.

But this study is just more globalist propaganda.

In my view.

It means that the economy is taking off and employees are quitting to move to better jobs.
Yet, in Houston and elsewhere in TX, there are plenty of graduate engineers who have been out of work for more than a year. Some even for two years.
Time for Trump to initiate the energy independence project and get our oil and gas sector in a hiring mode.
