Utah man visiting London was killed in attack near Parliament, wife seriously injured, relatives announce.
So very sad, can’t even be safe visiting London or going to pick your kids up from school.
And all the libs are screeching about is Islamophobia.
Takes a very heartless person to not care about the victims killed or hurt in such an attack on innocent people.
So sad for this family and the others impacted by this latest violence.
Hubby and I used to talk about visiting Europe one day after retirement. I no longer have any desire to leave the US, even though I know there will most certainly be more terrorist attacks happening here.
My husband’s job involves a lot of travel. It’s hard to believe how that travel once seemed so routine and unconcerning. That all changed beginning on 9/11/2001, when he was on a business trip to Atlanta, thankfully not NYC where he also traveled often. (All planes were grounded after the attack but fortunately he still had a rental car and was able to drive home to Minnesota).
Since then, nothing about plane travel is routine to me, and whole new potentially harmful scenarios have entered the picture. Potential terrorist activity at airports or big population centers where he attends huge conferences, violence from illegals especially when he travels to California or Las Vegas; he enjoys driving around in the evenings to unwind and enjoy the scenery or watch the sunset on an isolated California beach.
Today he will fly home from a big conference in Vegas. I found myself cautioning him to pay attention to everything and everyone around him at the airports. I hate that we even have to think about how to protect ourselves from violence that was once unthinkable. I hate what has happened to our world and I grieve for the victims of yet another despicable terrorist attack in London.
And I thank God for our President, who has taken on the monumental task of making our nation safe again and in the process has to fight not only foreign enemies but even a sizable number of fellow Americans ... and countless illegals who sometimes seem more protected than actual US citizens.
