Instead of being a traitor, he is actually the only true patriot. He gave up everything. Just like our forefathers were willing to do.

They husband experience the same thing. He was a whistleblower at work. He was the compliance manager at the largest non-nuclear power plant in California. His boss took emissions monitoring equipment off-line because he knew they were going to violate emissions during an event. My husband caught him at it, and had the choice of either going along with it, thereby being complicit, or whistleblowing. He knew his job there would be over. The boss just got a slap on the hand, so my husband had to quit. Now he’s having trouble finding a new power plant job, probably because the word is out.

Just had my ears cleaned out last week, could not hear on one side. Had it done once before about 15 years ago.
They used ear drops with carbamide peroxide 6.5%
Put drops in ear and then laid on opposite side for about 6 minutes, then blew it out with a large syringe, says you can blow it out with the shower.

This would be GREAT.

Now we are even getting these calls on our cell phones, so our minutes are eaten up.

GRRRRRRR!!

We both have been added to the “Don’t Call List”, still they don’t stop.

I miss some calls from people I would like to talk to cuz I won’t answer if i don’t recognize the number.

Yeah, those drops are what I normally use. They work better than olive oil, lol. Glad your hearing is back!

Mentions the Byrd rule. Someone here just mentioned it too, amazing how what happens on FR overlaps with the administration.

Your husband is obviously a man of integrity, deserving of respect for making a decision based on what was right rather than what was best for him personally.

Many swamp people in DC could learn a lot from him.

I hope he will find just the right job where his strength of character will be appreciated.

Thank you, OBS. I’m pretty proud of him. He has really been beaten down lately since all the interviews and resumes have led to nothing. When he is obviously extremely qualified for the positions. I don’t think there can be any other explanation other than it has followed him out here…

He’s decided to start up his own business, and be a home inspector. I think working for himself and not having to deal with anybody else’s ethics or incompetence will be good for him. I know he’ll be very good at work it - he’s just not happy with having to start from ground zero.

So sorry, persecution of the honest.

But your hubby was right and can live with himself.

Praying he will find an even better job.

Oh yeah, I was sure of it during the primaries too :-)

Can’t remember where I read it, most likely here, but when Trump was thinking about running he was listening to talk radio to see what the people wanted. I’m sure that includes reading free republic.

Spicer is just talking about this now. Hopefully the conservatives win that point.

Thank you Granny. In an odd way this gave us the freedom we wanted – to move out of Mexifornia to somewhere conservative and to start our own businesses to have more control over the taxes we pay and the time we spend working. So hopefully it will all be a great thing :-) it’s just the transition that is worrisome.

Obamacare required all insurance plans to offer those things, no matter what state. I think the conservatives are pushing to get this new bill to change it.

These press people do NOT get it.

President Trump does not think in terms of failure. He is focused on getting the job done.

Its like what my husband said to several bosses above him who were really pushing him to fire a woman under my husband who was sick alot. My husband was the older one in the discussion and he told his bosses that the worker was one of his best and one day sadly they too will probably have health issues.

Good for him. Your husband was right. For two reasons:

One being the reasons you stated. The other being that if fired, she would have lost her employer-provided coverage, and be in a terrible situation.

The fact that the woman is still able to be working there and providing for herself vindicates his decision.
