My husband and I text each other a lot during the day, usually discussing the latest on the political scene.

My iPhone routinely ‘corrects’ Schumer to “schemer”. I decided long ago, to just leave it that way. It actually makes sense, and my husband knows exactly who I’m talking aobut!

My sister has celiacs and has to be very careful. Some restaurants say that certain items are gluten free, but that isn’t always the case. A couple of examples: they don’t use gluten free soy sauce, they don’t change their gloves or use a different surface or toaster when preparing sandwiches, they fry their French fries in the same baskets and oil that they fry breaded chicken, fish, etc., and gluten free baked goods sitting right next to regular ones. It’s somewhat difficult to eat out, but people are starting to understand what needs to be done. We were at a Subway about a month ago and the gal was really good - she changed her gloves and even went back to the kitchen and got turkey that hadn’t been sitting out next to the other items.

Hmmm...

I wonder how a little squeezed “ginger juice” would be in a glass of ginger ale.

I had no idea soy was so pervasive.

I guess you have to do a lit of label reading at the store.

How long does a bout last after you’ve had soy?

Celiac is very similar to what I have only soy not gluten. Some people with Celiac have intolerance to both.

3-4 day. Each day better than the day before. Put a pork roast on will eat that but will have to stay away from acidic vegetables.

I don’t know, but in the video I linked to, DWS or someone wanted to give the Awans top clearance, and, if they got it, it would seem to me they would have access to the Hammer, unless access to it was very limited. In thinking about this, IF they got top clearance, I wonder if they had to go through specific checks, and, if so, how they passed. If they didn’t have to go through them, why not.

"Those ten essential benefits is what makes it to expensive for me to buy an individual plan. I have no need for maternity or pediatric care, nor do I foresee needing drug rehab."

Now I am really getting confused as to what this HCA is going to be. I thought the purpose of being able to buy across state lines is you WOULD have a choice to pick whatever insurance company has or doesn't have the benefits you want or don't want. If they are saying whatever insurance you pick has to have all these benefits in it then we are still at government run health care.

"Can’t believe what we read and hear let alone what we see with our own eyes."

I used to think one could at least believe their own eyes. Not anymore. It is really sad what our society has become.

soory, I ended abruptly - I was distracted because pages were loading so slowly.

it took a ling time for me to figure out what my cat was allergic to - which specific grains. the lab tests at the vets didn’t even test for most of them.

Humanas biggest insurance baby as my husband calls it is..the Humana Medicare Advantage. I wish I knew more about the details but my neighbor before she died told me she was leaving a 19thousand dollar debt to her daughter because she made the mistake of going with AARP. Now, people have gripes about all insurances. I’m just relaying one instance. Her daughter is a nurse and I do know a lot of nurses are United healthcare fans. They were to make the most off of Obamacare. Not saying Humana didn’t give a lot to the Presidency of Obama.

"Trump looks so little and thin in the one with him standing behind the buildings mockup."

I thought so also. Back then though people were much thinner. When I look at some of the old time movies it is hard to believe how thin the actors and actresses are.
