Why were they doing this? I remember the “tractorcade” when Jimmy Carter was President, but not really DC Transit doing anything.

There haven’t been any serious attempts yet, not reported anyway. Just assorted nutters making a run at it unarmed. That will stop if the Secret Service starts shooting them, and it’s coming down to that.
Yes, they’re being encouraged. Our media freaks out over abstractions from Republicans, like a target on a map, but when it’s Democrats literally threatening to kill somebody it’s all just fun and games.

I agree, they’re fanning the flames. The corrupt gov. and fakestream media is in open rebellion against Trump and his administration. Not just the deep state, the entire corrupt and compromised federal gubbermint, including the courts.
