Little Man was very upset. I am sort of numb today. Still can’t believe it.
So surreal. Oddly enough, Mr. Pen and I had spent the day shopping for some extra chairs for deck and patio and doing some gardening in back yard trying to spruce the place up for a party for the FW & Texas gang as soon as the stupid kitchen remodal was finished. John and I had talked about it Thursday evening. We were thinking of making a big deal of it and calling the Houston crowd to get up here too! He was all ready to bring food and of course his KA margaritas! Today the plants are sitting right where I put them down yesterday. I don’t feel much like gardening right now. John was one of the sweetest men I have ever meet and I loved him the second I met him! He was one of those kind of folks....easy to love and be with! He would always laugh at all my dumb and crazy stories. :(
