Reform, or better yet, elimination of civil asset forfeiture is long overdue. It’s a license to steal under color of authority.
The end of the world must be nigh. Never thought I’d see movement toward restoring property rights. Indeed a revolution is in the offing.
Best Senator in the bunch, IMHO
I agree. He has impressed mr greatly in the last 12 months.
Yeah, it creates all sorts of perverse incentives and conflicts of interest for those last able to be trusted in that scenario.
I agree.
“Yeah, it creates all sorts of perverse incentives and conflicts of interest for those least able to be trusted in that scenario.”
Exactly. Some public officials look worse than Al Capone or Pretty Boy Floyd. It’s a seriously bad idea.
I’m liking Rand better by the day...
Bump to the top for Rand Paul.
Anybody who can’t see that a judicial case with a name like U.S. v. $1,074,900 is a travesty is simply in denial.
I think Trump's victory has caused a lot of positives to occur, one of them being an injection of Moxie into people like Paul.
So who is going to oppose this act? The dims?
The differences could also be partly due to one being a lifetime politician and the other coming from having a ‘real job’/private sector. I had the privilege of meeting Senator Rand Paul once and was impressed then with what I felt was sincerity of character and message. It was back when he was running on the Tea Party wave. It appears, and I hope, he has regained his original Tea Party spirit he had back then.
Yep, especially the Republican ones.
Rand has been on a role lately. Agree 100% here with him.
Excellent bill. Needed for a long time. Hope it also relates to guns also. Police have been stealing guns for a long time.
Yep—he has become my clear favorite.
Yes, he's really on a roll. IMHO, he shouldn't have responded to Madman McCain, but it seems like he's doing something heroic every week.
The GOP will definitely primary him. I'm sure McConnell hates him.
