You can see the media grasping at straws here. Rich people invest in foreign countries? The hell you say!

Say a lie enough and the fools will believe it.
The left loves Hitler and are following his rise to power.

One wouldn’t expect a peasant to invest that kind of money.

The more journalists assigned to write a hit piece, the more lies it contains.
Fake news media can’t let go of the discredited Russia hacked the election for Trump meme.
Now their “proof” is Russians have invested in his property? LOL

If they can prove that Trump branded buildings are the only real estate in the US the Russian elite has ever invested in, then they might have something.

The two buildings that Obama shut down days before leaving office were OWNED by Russia and were places where Russian Diplomats resided as needed.
35 Russian Diplomats were kicked out.
Wonder what the records show as owners past and present. Since when does the President order property confiscated and who's watching it now??

Fake news media upset about Russian capitalism.
This is news????

But in the United States, members of the Russian elite have invested in Trump buildings.Bet they also invested in the Clinton Foundation.
With Trump, they were actually buying real property.
With Clinton, they were actually buying corrupt influence.

Based on my limited dealing with real estate, had President Trump refused to sell to prospective buyers for no reason than they were from Russia, he would have spent several years in court and they would have gotten the property anyway.
From the body of the article:
"The Reuters review of investors from Russia in Trumps Florida condominium buildings found no suggestion of wrongdoing by President Trump or his real estate organization. And none of the buyers appear to be from Putins inner circle."

If I were from Russia, I’d want to have a place in Florida where it is warm.

And so have Chinese and Japanese and Koreans and Canadians and Mexicans and Indians and . . . .
To: SoFloFreeper
Trump says he was wiretapped- absolute proof beyond a reasonable doubt is required to prove this accusation beyond a reasonable doubt.
Media and Dems say Trump worked with Russians to rig election- any ole innuendo or piecemeal info will do. Oh, and we need a special prosecutor
to look into the fact that there is no evidence.
To: SoFloFreeper
Only reason they can do this is because Trump has actually achieved something in his life besides running for office.

So?
They completely left out that ANYONE with “elite” status and the money to do so invested in Trump businesses wherever they were.
