By sheer talent alone, she has made her way into 6 figure jobs and spots on the Boards of large corporations who can pay her tht usual perks plus advertise her celebrity connection to their clients.

Wow, I had no idea Sabre is still being used today.
And, just looked it up - apparently, PARS was still in use until last year.
Just yesterday, I was telling my kids how we booked reservations in the old days, and that the knowledge I had must be useless now. I guess I was wrong.

“I was curious if I could care about (money) on some fundamental level, and I couldn’t,” she told Fast Company in an interview that ran in the magazine's May edition, explaining why she gave up lucrative gigs to join her family’s philanthropic foundation.

so you'll not be getting a paycheck or you'll donate it to charity, right??? feh...

They don't know it but they just renamed the company by adding an influence peddling whore to the Board of Directors:

XPedia

As is "never going there and will tell everyone I know never to go there since they spread political corruption".

it may not be clear right now but no question about it, there is something big in Chelsea’s board appointment that will allow the Clinton Crime Family to scam/steal millions.

It would be awesome if FReepers could compile some sort of group book and publish it online.

Like a searchable "Boycott List"?

I bet it’s possible. I’d be willing to help.

I'll pitch in, I'm a retired technical writer and Navy public affairs officer. Good at editing, as well. Been here a long time.

Wow, thanks. I had no idea.

After the Budweiser anti-Trump Superbowl ad I made it a point to boycott Budweiser products. I was amazed to learn how many brands were affiliated with Budweiser. The good news is I have successfully boycotted them all and it has cost Bud's parent company several hundred dollars since.

I’m with you! Been a reporter and writer for a long time.

We just need to gather the info and compile it.

I woke up in the middle of the night and checked FR...But I’ll send you FReepmail tomorrow. In case I forget, please send me a note.

This could be something amazing! :)

Btw, have a longtime friend who was in the Navy.

Can’t go wrong with members, retired or not, from the US Navy.

Although I don’t know if it’s the same, but Leroy Jethro Gibbs always said once a Marine always a Marine. Love NCIS..;)

I used them for my upcoming cruise. I was going to send them a feedback message saying I would never use them again, but am afraid they might sabotage my trip.

I just returned from a trip for which I used them. This morning they sent me a feedback questionnaire which contained a large "submit other feedback here" box. I let them have it and even included the list from post 27 of their companies that I will no longer use. They will send you a questionnaire when you return. That will be the time to express your dissatisfaction, hopefully with extreme prejudice. :-)

Looks like the trumpet antitrust regulators should see about breaking up the monopoly that Expedia has all the travel industry.

Too many brand names and computer software controlling pricing very bad for consumers

Expedia Affiliate Network
Expedia Local Expert
Expedia Cruise Ship Centers
