Nailed it sir, the school systems rely on enrollment numbers for federal subsidies. Illegal alien children are being used for scamming the system while deny our citizens any sort of reasonable education required to compete in the world.
Thanks; it is much more local than federal issues. Here in NJ we have “home rule”, where schools are funded by local property taxes - so we keep open schools filled with illegals and pay taxes to keep the teachers on the workfare dole.
What is truly killing the state is the pension IOUs those teachers are running up as well (which they’d rather not discuss; they won’t even be honest about how high their current salaries are compared to the private sector).
