A Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) hospital that touted its program focusing on 20 transgendered individuals failed in caring for the remaining 111,000 veterans on health care essentials like keeping its medical equipment clean and properly training employees, government auditors found.
"We could not gain reasonable assurance that clinical managers effectively monitor the professional competency of providers ... patient equipment is clean ... [and] employees ensure a safe and healthy environment," according to the Inspect General (IG) report on the activities at Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center released March 13.
The hospital in question was the subject of positive news coverage in late 2015, with a publicity campaign surrounding the opening of a "clinic for transgender patients." Veterans are able to receive taxpayer-funded sex change hormones, CBS News reported at the time.

Seems like a simple XX or XY test and cross-check against the data when the individual entered the military service.
No mid-course deviations allowed.
It is very expensive, very extreme surgery. Including pre-op and post-op care, it costs about $100,000. That is not even counting the years and years of psychotherapy involved.
Without getting too graphic...the surgery for males includes the surgical removal of penis and testicles, and plastic surgery to make a fake vagina.
This is evil business.

So what warrants the VA even treating it?
I ask this as a veteran of 18 years service who did not retire and has service connected disabilty (tinnitus - back in the day we were not given hearing protection in engine rooms) that I have never sought help for as I consider it too trivial to merit consideration for, especially considering what a lot of vets are dealing with.

How is transgenderisn service connected?
There are veterans that urgently need care. Transgendered individuals should be allowed to clean the restroom of their choice after hours when no Honorable veterans occupy the buildings. This will keep their minds off their silly fettish. They should each be issued a toothbrush and a bucket of water.
