Perhaps the instatenous onset of G was higher than the sustained G in the other aircraft, or the G-suit inflation system wasn’t fast enough, or the demonstration pilots were being too aggressive in their flight routines, or they were older than the average USAF pilot and had a lower tolerance for Gs.
No matter the cause, The result was that nobody wanted to buy the F-20 in numbers high enough to justify production when the F-16 was available.
