Wow, what a great company to work for. I hated the office life in downtown Cleveland. Get caught reading Ayn Rand at your cube during lunch and you’re forever ostracized.
LOL, I would have had a bookshelf with the following books prominently displayed:
1.) Atlas Shrugged
2.) Treason (probably “Hate Speech”)
3.) Witness
4.) Blacklisted by History
My daughter, who is very conservative works at a bookstore. She was ostracized for reading a Rush Revere children’s book in the lunchroom.
Sad.
She was glad to have had November 9 off. She would have been the only one in the entire store with a big smile.
