They have pinpointed a minority employee who supposedly hacked the account. The tweet was deleted and the apologized.

It did not sound professional and I’m believing them. They had nothing to gain by tweeting that.

Provide link they apologized. All they’ve said is Twitter compromised and they are investigating. No distancing from actual comments or clarifying they are apolitical. You think if the tweet dropped an N bomb they wouldn’t apologize and clarify no matter if they were hacked?

As of 11:05 AM there is nothing indicating an apology nor identity of so called “hacker” on the McDonald’s twitter account.

https://mobile.twitter.com/McDonalds

Visit the page and you’ll find continous McD tweets before and after, business as usual.

Only this:

Twitter notified us that our account was compromised. We deleted the tweet, secured our account and are now investigating this.

As far as being an unprofessional communication with nothing to gain have you forgotten the FU to opponents of same sex marriage by Starbucks CEO?

If you can prove your allegation post the source directly from McDonalds...oh, wait, Robert Gibbs....
