The feds have dropped the charges against Ammon Bundy's defense lawyer in the first Oregon Standoff trial last fall.

They tackled him, tased him, arrested him and charged him when he argrued before the judge after the jury acquitted Bundy and the other six defendants.

The decision to drop charges came as the defense was waiting for evidence from the government including any communications between the marshals that showed 'hostility' to Mumford.

Speaking of 'hostility' and this case, when Spiridon posted the first word about the prosecutors request to drop charges the other day, I had been suspended from posting on FR over making the verdicts in the second Oregon Standoff trial "Front Page News" last Saturday.

When Spiridon mentioned it in his post, I was again allowed to post on FR.

When one chooses to give the Oregon Standoff story attention posting it here on FR, one gets harassed by certain individuals like "humblegunner".

If you follow Gavin Seim's Facebook page, he has been attacked for his vigorous support for the Oregon Standoff-Bunkerville Standoff defendants.

The mainstream media reporter who has been writing about the case, Maxine Bernstein of "The Oregonian/Oregon Live", had her Twitter account hacked into on Monday.

So it is now held over Mumford’s head.

See you in a few days! I smell another suspension in your future.

Probably because plagirized material on your blog isn't news.

When Spiridon mentioned it in his post

Spiridon is your sock puppet account, used to post your blog while you were suspended.

Actually I'd bet that "harassment" has more to do with pimping your blog than anything else.

Have a great day.

Even by the standards of Obama-regime abuses, using a taser on a non-violent lawyer in court is shocking. I hope the federal marshals involved will be severely disciplined or preferably fired.

If you are going to mention someone you have no respect for, you do not have to PING them.

It was shocking to me the open use of a taser as a torture device by police in a courtroom on a lawyer. The insanity in this case is right up there with Waco.

We seriously need Judicial reform as cases like this make armed resistance to the law more likely. When the police dress like Nazis, act like Nazis and lie like Nazis, DON’T GET ON THE TRAIN!

Good for Mumford. I hope the guilty verdicts will be appealed.

So do you think they dropped the charges because they didn’t want to give over the Marshal’s employee files or because Trump fired all the remaining Obama appointed US Attorneys?

Oregon’s Attorney wasn’t fired yet because he’s a judge appointed temp from when the Obama appointee resigned in disgrace for stalking or some interpersonal nonsense.

I wondered if he is angling for permanent appointment?
