The District Court Orders have to go through their respective Appeal Courts first. But, if the Appeals decisions are against the EO and it goes to SCOTUS, and an 8 member SCOTUS ties, the fringe lunatic liberal Appeals decision stands.

They *are* just that desperate and insane to get away from their precious seats of power.
Team Trump needs to point out that the victims of radical Islamic terrorism are disproportionately Muslim. This means that the black-robed tyrants ordering the Executive Branch around without the authority to do so are the ones who are inflicting disproportionate harm on Muslims. Or are these judges so bigoted that they think all Muslims are terrorists so that blocking terrorists means blocking all Muslims?
Not a lawyer, but I would advise against ignoring the order, just because I think the Swamp is looking for anything to impeach. (Even though I agree with you that he could easily do that and be correct)
But why not just hold a press conference and note the judges have usurped power that wasn’t theirs for political purposes. Because he’s so concerned for the national security of this country and to preempt any more seditious conduct by judges, Trump declares a state of national emergency and shuts off ALL immigration from ALL countries for a period of 180 days to ensure proper vetting procedures are in place.
This approach eliminates any specious Establishment Clause claims and keeps the order squarely in the national security / Commander in Chief safe harbor.
Wouldn’t this approach be the one adopted if, for example, some worldwide pandemic were taking place?

So if we are at war with a country now, like we were with Japan and Germany, we’d have to let in anyone from those countries even though many were sure to be spies?

These judges are domestic enemies.
It seems the way around this would be for Trump to issue an EO that states the originating country of any entrant to the US must have a verifiable vetting system in place, and attach specific, non-negotiable standards to it. By rote, that would eliminate most of those MidEast hellholes.

All these diverse peoples who had to flee their sh*thole, dysfunctional lands, to the highly-ordered first world built by the NW European man in order to make a go of it. Now they feel so triumphant when they can stick to the NW European civilization which allowed them in. "Hey, maybe we can make this NW European country as nice and dysfunctional as the clusterf*ck lands we fled?!!"
What these peoples or their children will discover is that multiculturalism can only work in a highly-ordered and prosperous country. Rep. Steve King was right. A country is he way it is because of the people who populate it. Not vice versa.
Thing is, there’s another way to do it - shut it all down but tourism and watch the pressure from businesses mount on those responsible for their new misfortune - the courts and the Dems.
They can’t claim discrimination as a reason to stay such an order if it literally affects everyone of every possible extraction equally.

Actually, they’ve shown reluctance to do that for anything that ‘hurts everyone equally.’ I propose we use that against them.
