United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement said it arrested 86 foreign nationals across five Midwestern states last week, including 26 in Minnesota.
In a release Wednesday, the department said the operation targeted immigration fugitives, re-entrants and at-large criminal aliens over a three-day span.
The operation included 32 arrests in Nebraska, 26 in Minnesota, 23 in Iowa, four in North Dakota and one in South Dakota. ICE said 52 of those arrested had prior convictions in addition to an undocumented status.
Twenty-three had previously been deported and returned, which constitutes a felony.
Nice to see this after an eight year halt, like you say there’s a new Sheriff in town.

That SOUNDS like a joke, but that’s what I’ve been seeing. I saw that just this morning.
They are STILL there, they’re just 10% or so less obvious about it.

I live in a medium-sized (38K) town in S.E. Missouri. Last night I took my wife to a local Mexican restaurant (one of 10 in town). First thing that struck me was most of the waitresses were American—not Mexican. That had never been the case in that restaurant before. The receipt said “now hiring servers”. I have not heard of local arrests and deportations, but something is happening.
I know, I know, it’s called Winning. I was told I’d get tired of it.
They moved north. They’re all in South Minneapolis.

A trazillion illegals and they managed to arrest 86 of them, all of who will probably be back on the streets tomorrow.
but but but.. now who’s gonna tend the farms, slop the hogs, milk the cows, slice the meat, drink the cervezas and drive like drunken banditos freely?
That doesn’t really sound like a big number. I’m interested in hearing when they start clearing out the jails.
I don’t see any sense of urgency in this.
Very glad to see this. Just a drop in the bucket, but something, at least.
These 86 show that Hillary/Obama supporters are a persistent group, and just like them, criminals, crazies, and general law-breakers.

Huh? BFD. ICE could arrest that many in Los Angeles alone.
ICE doesn’t have enough officers in the entire continental United States to arrest all the ILLEGAL ALIENS in the city of Los Angeles and the surrounding 20 miles.

Trump says a couple million of the really bad hombres going is his first deportation priority—yet ICE seems to be a pretty low-volume operation.
