When I was in high school one of my friends whose family was from Ireland went back there over the summer to visit their cousins. In Dublin they ran into some guy whose family must have migrated there a generation earlier from Africa. He freaked out because he had never heard a black person speaking with an Irish brogue before in his life. LMAO.
I don’t pretend to be well traveled so when I met what looked like asians, speaking with what I thought was an English accent, I thought it was hysterical.
Turns out the sisters were from new zealand.
