When rumors started swirling after the election that Chelsea Clinton was considering her own foray into politics, it was met with eye rolls even from staunch supporters of the family.
“Think we can let the dust settle a bit before we start talking about another Clinton race?” one former adviser to Hillary Clinton said after the New York Post reported in November that the former first daughter was being “groomed” to run for Congress, possibly replacing 79-year-old congresswoman Nita Lowey (D-N.Y.) “It’s exhausting.”

The names “Clinton” and “Bush” now hold about as much appeal for the electorate as “Ebola”.
They need product (i.e., influence) to peddle.
It’s the family business.
Interestingly, Chelsea was too dumb to realize that, as revealed in Wikileaks Podesta correspondence. She had someone come in, look around at the foundation, and concluded that somehow Bill was being taken advantage of by underlings setting up shady deals. The letter went on to say, “Who does she think she is? Who does she think paid for her wedding and apartment?”
I could easily see her spending the next 40 years representing a safe district in New York with a 90%-10% Democrat-to-Republican registration ratio. I've said for months that she has "third generation Kennedy" written all over her.
Saw her giving hell to the USMC Commandant yesterday over the nude photo scandal like he was personally responsible for it.
I wanted to slap her a hundred times...............

Who are they kidding? This is just a desperate bid to make it seem like there might still be some influence for the Clinton crime family to peddle.
It is very apparent that there was a plan to make Chelsea the heir apparent after Queen Hillary assumed her throne. Chelsea recently published a book about how she and the Gates foundation would run a world-government global health regime. It reads like a bizarre pipe-dream now, but would have been quite scary if her mother was president.
Chelsea was heard to reply “neighhhhhhh.”
She hasn’t a chance of becoming anything but a younger version of her Mother. She just wants to fill her coffers with other peoples’ money thrown at her in the hopes of her success. Well, they’ll be helping her succeed alright.....
Rumors that are completely media generated to make Chelsea, who couldn't be less attractive as a candidate, a "thing".
If there was any normality here, she would be welcome running for office, presuming it was for something logical - School Committee of her local town, for example. Don’t recall her major, but anything related to economics, she could run for Finance Committee.
That’s what Republicans are told to do, and have to do, to get into politics in MA.
Can’t run an influence-peddling racket without at least the potential for having influence to peddle.
