When you eat too much protein, it is actually not healthy. Primarily, it hurts your kidneys and your body actually converts it to a glucose (sugar) which is then treated like a carb. Furthermore, your body feels satiated for LONG periods of time when on a high fat diet low carb diet. It does NOT on a high protein low carb diet.
