Major bust!

Once again, the mainstream media gets it wrong.

Haven’t the NYC media been spreading panic and hysteria about this snowstorm for three or four days?

This, from the same people that can tell us what our weather will be in 50 years.

Settled science, indeed.

Once again, the self-flagellating, global warmist, Weather Channel, with all their fancy equipment, and specialized collegiate background, copulated the cockapoo, after 24 hours of broadcasting how bad just another winter storm could be.

Five days of buildup with NY & NJ Governors (at least) giving weather forecasts and warnings. Everything is closed here 20 miles west of Manhattan and it's not windy and it's not snowing. Looks like about four inches of stuff out there now. Somebody will have to explain to me why the elevated subways aren't running, but they feel they have to run trains anyway to keep the tracks clear.

I'm getting old so maybe my memory isn't so good, but I just don't remember Governor Rockefeller giving weather warnings.

Iowa got it pretty bad, but they had all of southern WI freaking out. 7-10”

We got TWO.

Yep. I’m going to believe these people that *I* am the cause of Climate Change.

Whatever.

Poor Dems. They were so excited about Trump blowing his first change to use FEMA. If things went like they hoped, dozens or hundreds of people would have died and thousands would be without a home and 100s of thousands without electricity.

The “Trump Outrage of the Day” won’t be very outrageous this week (maybe he can eat a steak with ketchup to give them something).

I traveled south on I 81 towards Knoxville this morning and met two groups of power line trucks headed north into harms way

I learned the hard way, to not trust the weather people. Back in 1958, I didn’t do my Latin homework, because the weather people said that a big snow storm would be coming thru that night. Well, it rained all night and Mrs. McKinney called on me first. I was honest and told why I didn’t do my homework. She smiled and said I hope that you learned a lesson.

The best minds and technology cannot accurately predict weather 24 hours in advance for an area the size of one state.

But liberals believe that untrained ideologs with a leftist political agenda can accurately predict climate changes years and decades in advance for the entire planet.

There’s actually more in the Hudson Valley and the western part of the state.”

Some spring skiing next week to help the ski areas out there salvage a blah season.

Here in the mountains of North Carolina we saw the prediction go from two storms a day apart to one, and the snowfall amounts in the one remaining dwindle go from 12” to just a dusting last night.

We had the kids come home early for Spring Break because we were told that they would be driving in a snowstorm. Turns out, it was just another sunny day. Nice to have them home early, though.

I’ve stopped getting worked up about these storms. It’s just an opportunity for those poor weather folks who dwell at the tail end of the newscast to take a front seat, so they jump up and down and hyperventilate to get attention for their big shot. Meanwhile, I can look at the radar maps online and take a glance out of my window and do a better prediction than these highly over-paid, over-educated bimbo and manbos can.

Drudge should stop whining.

Flights would have been cancelled with these winds and approaches. They got that right.

It would be dangerous to get kids to schools. They got that right.

Stop whining.
