Mattis talks a good game, and his actions seem in the right direction. However, Mattis shares the illusion of Western elites that what Mattis calls “political Islam” is something separate from religious Islam.
Mattis seems outstanding as a leader in a war, but Patterson proves he has no clue about the primal reality of Islam, and shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near ‘policy’.

There’s less there than meets the eye.
I thought Mattis was a logical thinker. I am wrong if he thinks there is a difference between political Islam v religious Islam.
Send him the Quo’ran. Give him a test over the whole book. He will fail and then he needs to be gone.
