INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb joined a growing list of Republicans who want the GOP-led Congress to preserve Medicaid funding in their overhaul of former President Barack Obamas health care law. Holcomb said Monday that Obamas law needs to be fixed. And he says a plan led by Republicans in Washington is an appropriate first step.

Fricking Obama hooked these GOP Governors into accepting this crap.
Too bad.
Do you SERIOUSLY think there will be a phase to and three after this monstrosity? Because if you do, I think you’re seriously deluded.
We getting more & more to a place where low income people are entitled to “free” medical care, free money (welfare), free (or very low cost) housing, free food (food stamps) and if they work the minimum amount they get “refundable tax credits” worth thousands of dollars.
Where is the incentive for them to take responsibility for improving their financial situation?
Our RINO gov.of TN tried that crap here. The Great GOP legislature stopped him cold.
Wow, well, looks like another “gimmedat” Republican needs to be taught the truth of conservatism. Primary him or force him out. Or, if he wants to learn, get him back in line with the philosophy of winning.
Medicaid is the welfare state. The welfare state must die. The welfare state is a modern substitute for slavery and theft from the producers to the non-producers.
He’s a governor. He doesn’t have a vote.
I tried to place a Bet at Caesars Palace over the weekend on just that, They Turned me down, they wouldn’t even go for even money on that deal, I wanted odds.
Trump cannot let the republicrats stick him with Trillion Dollar deficits every year.
It will guarantee a democrat resurgence and victory at the polls in 2018 and 2020.
The Obama deficit spending is one of the reasons people voted for President Trump.
The establishment republicans are like democrats:
They think every moocher in the country is entitled to all the free stuff they want.
After all - the money just grows on the Obama Fruit tree.
Medicaid is the welfare state”
I believe when people are forced to go on Welfare.... it is a Direct Reflection of the policies put forth by the Government at all levels. Therefore I would prefer to see it Refinanced as such:
All Welfare of any and every kind, shall be paid through a separate assessment on the Income and Assets of the Public Employee’s in the State. I would be willing to compromise and require Public Servants to pay half and regular employee’s pay the other half.
Watch their stupid policies change Over Night.
It was the GOP ‘giving’ the money to Obama! They are part of the problem. And before that, they were giving it to Bush. Congress are the ones responsible for spending.
I trust Trump, he put it on the White House web site.
You don’t trust Trump?
Holcomb said Monday that Obamas law needs to be fixed.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And that is what is wrong with the RINOcare bill.
It attempts to fix Obamacare.
It does not repeal it.
I don’t trust the Republicans. I’ve learned that by experience.
They don’t want to repeal 0bamacare. If they did, they’d re-pass the 2015 bill.
They talk a good game, but when the chips are down, you can count on them to cut and run.
The 2015 bill is a dog and pony show, a farce. That’s what it was in 2015 and that is what it is now.
Of course it was, and they proved that when they introduced this monstrosity. They never had any intention of repealing 0bamacare.
But the 2015 bill passed both houses. We know it can pass both houses, because it di. Unlike this piece of trash Ryan came up with, which may not even pass one house, let alone both.
So if they really wanted to repeal, they’d re-pass the bill that they know already got through both houses. The fact that they didn’t tells us everything we need to know.
There will be no “three pronged approach.” What you see is what you get.
